Vulvoplasty

Because or basset is prone to bladder infections, our vet has strongly suggested vulvoplasty so I’m wondering if any of your followers have had this procedure done on their dog and if so was the outcome favorable? Also how easy or hard is the recovery process? This is the part that has me concerned as I hate to have to crate her both day and night but will, of course, if I have to.
