Two Dogs In A Shelter Found Snuggling Together

| Published on November 7, 2015

Every dog needs love. And that is exactly why we urge people to adopt shelter dogs. These dogs have been hungry for love all their lives. And it is up to us to give them that chance–a chance to experience what having a family is like, a chance to feel safe, a chance to feel happy, and a chance to feel love.

To those dogs at the shelter who haven’t been adopted yet, the only chance they feel love is through a shelter staff or volunteer who visits them, feeds them, and plays with them. But sometimes, they also get a sense of family and love from their fellow shelter dogs. And that is evident in the photo you will see below.

At the Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control shelter in Florida, two dogs were found snuggling together for comfort. The photo of Sugarfoot and Kaite were uploaded by a Reddit user with a caption saying,

These two are named Kaite and Sugarfoot and are waiting for a home (together or apart) at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, if anyone’s looking for a snuggle buddy!

According to what the shelter spokesperson told The Dodo, Sugarfoot had family before. But when they moved to an apartment, they couldn’t keep her there, so they surrendered her to the shelter.

Kaite on the other hand, was picked up as a stray. The shelter’s standard practice is to pair two dogs together. And when Kaite and Sugarfoot met, they immediately became friends.

These two are clearly hungry for love and they snuggle together to comfort each other. Let’s help find these two a loving, forever home by sharing their story. We hope these two will find the family and the love they desperately need. Hopefully, they’re gonna be adopted together so they can continue to share some snuggles and cuddles!
