Jenny, a stray cat who had made a sewer her home, was rescued and taken to a nearby animal shelter. Upon arrival, it was evident that she was severely undernourished. Further examination revealed that Jenny was also pregnant, adding urgency to her situation. It became crucial for Jenny’s well-being to be restored to ensure she could withstand the demands of childbirth.

The volunteers worked tirelessly to care for Jenny and get her as healthy as possible. Their efforts worked! The only problem was, she was incredibly skittish and wanted nothing to do with people or other animals. Thankfully with time, Jenny came out of her shell. But soon after, Jenny began acting strange. She stopped eating and went back to her old behaviors.

Jenny’s change in behavior could only mean one thing: the cat was going into labor! A few days later, Jenny gave birth to five healthy kittens. As the kittens grew up, however, one baby didn’t look like any of the siblings. Her coat was curly! It was as if she got a perm. It was the oddest thing. Even the vet was scratching his head. He had never seen a kitten look like this!

The veterinarian ran tests and found that the kitten was perfectly healthy. He assured everyone that her appearance would not affect her quality of life. The shelter then brought in an expert cat breeder who knew everything about felines. The breeder was also stumped but still wanted to adopt the kitten. The expert claimed that the kitten was the most beautiful cat she had ever seen!
