May 14th, 2014 – Bravo Raw Pet Foods has issued a recall of due to a potential contamination with Listeria, a harmful organism that can cause severe illness or even death for younger children or the elderly. The organism can also cause illness for healthy individuals, including high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, or diarrhea. While it’s rare for healthy pets to become affected, the symptoms may be similar to that ones listed above of a healthy individual.
