June 30, 2024 in reply to: Movies to avoid watching cause something bad happens to the dog/cat #4207595Y’all need to see “Arthur the King”. It’s based on a true story and has a happy ending. We saw it a couple of weeks ago. The dog lives and is a hero!
June 30, 2024 in reply to: Movies to avoid watching cause something bad happens to the dog/cat #4207590I break my heart every time I watch Marley and me – I avoid watching it now – too painful
Same way I celebrate him every day! Love, hugs, treats, sleeping in the bed with me, on the couch me, and telling him how much I love him!
Absolutely! I make sure to take the day off and we make 1 trip to the dog park in the morning and a long walk at a local park in the evening!
PetSmart trip for treats and goodies dog park and a pup cup
I get her a card and I sing Happy birthday to her. Every day is her birthday as far as I’m concerned. Xx
She gets a dog safe cake and presents treats and her family all around her giving her loves
They don’t live long enough. My boy just crossed the Rainbow Bridge two weeks ago! The only time our fur babies break our hearts is when theirs has stopped beating.
Don’t have any regrets
The only regret I may have is not spending a lot of time with her. I have to work & she’s alone for 8 hours but she’s my everything when I come home
Our biggest regret was buying a brand new weed eater only had two weeks with a lithium battery. It burned our house down and lost my three beautiful big dogs and two birds. Warning you all keep lithium batteries far away from everything! Hopefully this will save someone else’s home and beautiful pets. Many homes are burning down from these batteries EBikes as well.
Not having a dog earlier in my life but work commitments would not allow.
Not training him as soon as I got him (8 weeks)
Not getting him sooner. He was an abused rescue. He is very loved and will be for the rest of his life. He brings us such joy!!
Not adopting pup Twinkie, the mate to pup Cupcake , when we had a chance. Cupcake always seen very sad for the many years we had her.
Now we have 3 mini schnauzers all rescues and related.. Cupcake taught us that we can’t say no anymore to family .Not being able to do more with them because of work and now they are in their older age and it kills me
Not meeting our foster dog and adopting him sooner. We could have loved him longer!!!!!
Letting my dog out for a play date and tore both her ACLs.
Love them all. Have 2 rescues now, 1 Great Pyrenees, 1 1/2 German Shepard 1/2 Great Pyrenees. My regret is not remembering the heartache of losing the one before. Had Golden Retrievers and other mixes, etc. Best friends and more. Always in my heart.
Having a short time with them
Is they don’t live as long as I do. It is like losing a family member.
Not being able to have them, because I live in a community with unbelievable fear based restrictions.
I NEVER let my dogs bark, or pester neighbors in any way, but people are fearful and used to people who don’t care about their fears, so they expect people to let their dogs be a source of concern.
Bad dog owners are ruining it for the rest of us.
Not being able to get my dog to vet because I had court. She passed away, but at least my brother was there to comfort her, at least I like to hope he did.
