I introduced my rotties to my first child the day that I brought him home. We had a female and a male rott, and both were so excited to see our new baby. Within a few minutes both settled down. My female hardly ever left our sons side and our male would stay away at a distance but kept a watchful eye on our son. My female was super protective of him and would always have to lay by his bed or swing. If he made a whimper or moved she would alert me to come and see what was wrong. The only issue that we encountered was when our son started crawling. One day he crawled up to our male and pulled at his leg while he was asleep. This startled our male and he growled at our son.

Have you found a home for this boy? He is beautiful and i would love to have him if he is still looking for a forever home. I currently have two females and I am sure he would fit in just fine.
