Last week, we posted a news article about a woman who is facing charges of animal cruelty because of her Facebook post asking for someone to shoot her dog. And yesterday, we posted news of another woman who is charged with animal cruelty after posting on Facebook that she’s been shooting her dog with a BB gun and a taser.
And now, yet another woman is facing charges of animal cruelty! In Salisbury North Carolina, a 25-year-old woman named Kimberly Ann Howell is charged with animal cruelty because she duct taped her dog’s mouth and posted the photos on Facebook.
Someone saw the photos that Howell posted and reported it to the Rowan Sheriff’s Office. Howell said that she did it because her dog, Leah, kept barking. She also told the investigators that it was not a big deal, and that the dog was not physically hurt. She also claimed that she removed the duct tape after posting it on Facebook, and that the post was meant as a joke.
Howell said she loves Leah, and she even spoils her. Her boyfriend backed up her story, saying that Leah is a perfectly healthy dog, and that the tape wasn’t on the dog for more than two minutes.
