When you purchase products from the iHeartDogs store, some of that profit is donated to GreaterGood. GreaterGood is an incredible organization that helps lots of dogs in need. Thanks to amazing customers like you, so many dogs have gotten a second chance at life. Charlie and Romeo are two of the many dogs that have benefited from these amazing donations!

Romeo and Charlie were both just young puppies when Animal Lifeline rescued them. Romeo was rescued from a veterinarian in Louisiana. He and his two siblings were brought to a shelter with their mom to be euthanized. When they arrived at the vet, the vet just couldn’t do it. She knew that these sweet dogs still had a long life ahead of them.

So, Animal Lifeline provided transport for Romeo and his family. Romeo and his siblings received the medical attention they needed, and then they were put up for adoption once they were old enough. Of course, adorable little Romeo found his forever home in no time!

Charlie’s life was also saved thanks to an Animal Lifeline transport. He was abandoned as a puppy, left tied under a trailer to starve. Animal Lifeline was able to get him on one of their transports to bring him to a new life.

When he first arrived, Charlie was a very shy pup. But as the staff at the rescue got to know him better, he warmed up and let his silly and playful side show. He was adopted by a kind family early on, but he was later returned because he wasn’t the right fit for them. However, this caused his foster family to see his return as a sign. They officially welcomed him into their family, and now he visits Animal Lifeline with his mom so he can greet people.

Both of these pups had a rough start to life, but now they both have a happy, loving family thanks to GreaterGood. Donations from GreaterGood help fund Animal Lifeline transports. These amazing donations are the reason so many dogs can be transported to safer situations.

Animal Lifeline started out in 2006 as a way to provide spay and neuter assistance for dogs in need. In 2017, they expanded to Pittsburgh to transport dogs from dangerous situations to safer places where they can get adopted much faster. So many dogs have been saved because of these transports!

Thanks to purchases from the iHeartDogs store, many dogs like Charlie and Romeo are rescued and given a second chance at life. iHeartDogs sells a wide variety of products for both you and your dog. Every purchase can make a difference. So, thank you to all our loyal customers that have bought products to help dogs in need!
