Almost every dog knows how to bark. I said “almost” because not all dogs bark. The Basenji is a small to medium sized, elegant and square shaped breed that cannot bark at all. It is believed that the ability to bark was intentionally bred out of the breed because barking in the jungle was a clear giveaway to enemies. But the dogs we have here definitely know how to bark. It’s something they have learned since they are puppies!
The French Bulldog in the video below can bark. But when he opens his mouth, he lets out the strangest and weirdest barking sound ever! It doesn’t even sound like a bark! Watch the video below and listen to this adorable cutie “barking”!
