Some dogs love to work, others, well others prefer the easy life of sitting on the couch. Or, they belong to the “I’ll only do it if there is something in for me” crowd. These 10 breeds tend to not like working, but we love them anyway. And as always, there are exceptions to every breed.

Akitas definitely have energy, and they can work, but they are type of dog that is going to look at you and decide if what you are asking them is really something they want to do. If no, they will literally turn away from you and act like you don’t exist.
