#10 – Caucasian Ovcharka
This large breed comes from Eastern Europe and is used mostly as a livestock guardian dog. They are in the Mastiff breed group and are known for being very aggressive. Although they make excellent livestock guardians, don’t be fooled by breeders shaping them to be ideal for personal protection. The breed is not typically used in police and military work as it does not have the exact temperament for it.
