#2 – Catahoula Leopard Dog
Named the state dog of Louisiana, USA, the Catahoula Leopard Dog originated there. This breed developed as a hog hunting breed and is mainly used for this purpose today, although they’ve recently been accepted by the AKC for conformation status.
