Have you lost your dog? No worries, here’s Scott Six to the rescue! Based out of Pennsylvania, Scott has reunited 55 dogs with their families in the last few 2 years. Scott says he doesn’t do it for the money, but for the love of dogs.

He actually has a method for finding dogs. He claims that dogs circle, so he patterns them. He tries to figure out where the dog is going. He even checks out topographical maps to see where the water is. And get this folks, he actually brings a secret ingredient when he looks for them – bacon! Yup, bacon which he puts in his pockets! In fact, a local grill house has been donating bacon and grease to Scott to help lure the dogs to him.

(Note: generally, bacon is not good for dogs to consume, but Scott uses it as a tool because the strong aroma successfully lures dogs toward him in these emergency situations. He only feeds the dogs tiny amounts of bacon, if any.)

Watch a news story that describes his latest rescue:

I guess this is the reason why it only took less than 2 hours for Scott to find Priscilla, Chad McWilliam’s dog, who got lost when his house burned down. All’s well that ends well, thanks to Scott for his effective methods!
