Nuggy, affectionately known as Chicken Nugget, is an extraordinary French Bulldog puppy with special needs who has overcome remarkable challenges. Born with multiple deformities, there were initial doubts about her ability to lead a normal dog’s life. Nevertheless, Nuggy’s infectious enthusiasm and indomitable spirit have demonstrated that she is capable of much more than was ever expected.
Upon arriving at her foster home, Nuggy was so small that her foster dad anticipated challenges in getting her back legs to function correctly. However, Nuggy’s strong will and love for life were clear from the beginning. In just the first three weeks, she was already scaling the small stairs to the couch to reach her large dog foster brother, Goliath.
Little by little, Nuggy began putting her feet lower to the ground and started to pick up speed. Her progress was so remarkable that it felt like she had been with her foster dad for years, even though it was only a few months. Nuggy’s foster dad knew that as long as she found the proper adopter, this little fighter would continue to thrive.
Fortunately, Nuggy hit a home run with her forever family. Her new parents are incredibly supportive and have enrolled her in a special rehab program to help her continue to develop her mobility. Nuggy’s family loves her dearly, and it’s evident in the way they care for her.
Whenever her parents have prior obligations, Nuggy returns to her foster dad for boarding. It’s like her second home, and she comes barreling in with excitement every time. Nuggy’s forever home couldn’t be more perfect for her, and she brings 100% enjoyment to everyone she meets.
