Army mom Janna Berger just returned home after being away at training for eight months, and she didn’t want to keep saying goodbye to Murphy. She started thinking about him every day while gone, but her time had finally arrived.

Murphy stayed with Janna’s parents while she was away, waiting outside of Mom’s room to see her. The reunion was special, everyone knew that.

Murphy started barking as he approached his mom. He could see the leash in her hands and the familiar blue shirt, but it felt like a dream. Had she been gone that long? After taking a deep sniff, he realized that yes, this was really his mom!
