13 Dogs Who Ate Way Too Much This Thanksgiving

| November 27, 2015

(Note: Always be careful what you feed your dog! Please educate yourself on what kinds of foods are dangerous and what qualifies as safe, dog-friendly options to give your pup before feeding her “human food”!)

We hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! If you’re suffering from a turkey hangover, you’ll be able to relate to these ten tuckered-out, turkey-loving canines!

1. First there’s this dog, who’s about to lapse into a food coma.

Three words, my friends: Tryp-to-phan. Or “stuffed and lazy.” Or “I love food.” All statements are accurate.

2. And this dog who’s too lazy to tease the cat. “Really, Fred? Do I look like I want to snuggle?” #spontaneousnaptime

3. We have this pug, who fell asleep, mid-lick. Because you know, “slop ’til you drop” is a phrase that this pup really takes seriously.

4. And this girl who’s got herself a food baby–er–litter. This dog is a pooch, in every sense of the word.

5. This pup is so full, he has decided to become one with the couch.“Fran, where’s the puppy?! WHERE’S THE–! Oh, I’m sitting on her.”

6. And this little nugget may have had one eggnog too many. And he is clearly below the legal drinking age! Wait ’til your third birthday, Teddy!

7. This guy is so stuffed, he had to sit out on the annual family football game. Let’s just call it, “Overategate.”

8. And this fluffball simply couldn’t finish his meal. “Too..much…” *snore*

9. We have this clever fella, who fell asleep while maintaining his strategic scrap-catching form. It appears that his technique was very successful, judging by the dreamy, satiated look in his eye.

10. And we can all relate to this pupper, who is ashamed of inhaling three pieces of pie. It’s okay, bud: we’ve all been there. You’re beautiful just the way you are.

11. Something’s not right here… “I didn’t get bigger…the door just shrunk.”

12. Looks like a good spot for a food coma nap. (Because we all love a good view when our eyes are closed.)

City Nap

13. This seat is definitely taken! For, like, three days,

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your happy hounds!
