Guy Didn’t Want A Dog Till This ‘Wonky-Faced’ Pup Charmed His Heart

Brodie is a beautiful German Shepherd with a doggy heart of gold. But at first glance, some are “turned off” by his appearance. Thankfully one family saw Brodie for what he truly is: Perfect!

Brodie’s stray pregnant mama was only ten months old when she was taken from the streets and put into the shelter. Because of the stress, her young age, and several other possible factors, she bit Brodie several days after giving birth. The shelter workers didn’t see it happen; they only heard Brodie’s cries. As the pup grew up, his skull took on a different shape. X-rays revealed the deformities, but he would need several operations to address them.

The pup eats and drinks just fine. He plays perfectly. Sure, he looks a little “wonky,” but that’s just Brodie! When his parents, Amanda and Ben, met him, it was love at first sight! In fact, Ben didn’t even want a dog, but Brodie was undeniable.

Amanda and Ben love to take Brodie and his puppy sibling to the park. It’s Brodie’s favorite place! He runs and plays, celebrating his happy life. We are so happy that this deserving pup found a loving family who sees him for who he truly is.

Amazingly, people who followed Brodie’s original shelter post wanted to know if he ended up in a loving home and were curious to follow his progress. Amanda started an Instagram page specifically for locals that inquired about the pup, but Brodie’s story exploded. He now has followers from all around the world!

Would you have opted for Brodie to have facial reconstruction surgery so his appearance resembles the average dog? We’d love to hear from you! Please tell us what you think in our comment section.
