A beautiful little girl named Brooklyn wanted a very special puppy. Brooklyn found a dog online whose paw looks just like her hand. Bronx, the adorable Pittie pup, was waiting to be adopted. Brooklyn found him online and said to her mom Tina, “It just makes me so happy that somebody else is like me.”
Brooklyn continued, “When I saw a video of Bronx, I loved his hand, ’cause it looked like mine.” Bronx was living with his foster mom, who shared his story online. The pup has a condition called ectrodactyly which is the same condition Brooklyn has. It was fate!
Tina and her husband drove for hours to pick up Bronx but didn’t tell Brooklyn, because they wanted to surprise her. The doting parents didn’t care that it was a 24-hour round trip. They knew it was worth it! Brooklyn was elated to be united with the dog she’d been dreaming about!
Brooklyn’s gift couldn’t have come at a better time! The little girl had started kindergarten, and some kids picked on her for being different. Bronx did wonders for her self-esteem. Seeing these two precious souls together is so sweet and inspirational!
