A rescuer, named Zach, with Molly’s Mutts met Maple in the shelter. The poor pup was wrapped in bandages due to serious injuries. When Zach knelt down to Maple and gave her some pets, he realized she had a “child-like energy” to her. She certainly had the will to survive, she just needed a helping hand.

Zach decided to take Maple from the shelter and bring her to the vet clinic. Amazingly, despite all the Pit Bull had been through, the moment Zach lifted the injured pup up and carried her out of the shelter kennel, her whole body relaxed. She trusted Zach as soon as she felt his loving touch.

Maple was a true warrior. She never behaved like an injured dog. A woman named Randi saw Maple’s video online and knew she’d make the perfect foster mom to the deserving pup. Maple needed proper medical attention, and frequent vet visits– Randi was certain she could provide all of that (and lots of love!) And then, the sweetest thing happened next!

Randi saw Maple transform as soon as the vet staff cut out little red hearts and put them on her bandages. They also added a butterfly headband. Randi says in the video below that Maple’s head stood taller that day, instead of down low, and her tail was up. Maple understood that she looked adorable and more approachable. She received compliments instead of people feeling sorry for her. What comes next will absolutely send you into a cuteness frenzy! We promise! See how Maple’s story turns out in the video below.
