Dog Tales is a dog rescue and horse sanctuary in King City, Ontario Canada. It’s a safe place where abused, neglected, and abandoned animals can heal and be rehabilitated. This beautiful sanctuary has 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills and wooded areas, which means plenty of area for dogs and horses to run around and play.
One of the dogs under the care of Dog Tales is a blind and deaf senior dog named Penelope–a shepherd mix who came from a high-kill shelter in Miami. Penelope’s family surrendered her and left her there to die. Thankfully, Dog Tales got to her in time–sparing her from doggy death row.

Penelope may be blind and deaf, but that doesn’t affect her ability to love. She is very loving, super friendly, and she is wonderful with children. This sweet girl loves the outdoors and she loves to snuggle too!

Penelope may need special care, but she is hopeful that a family out there is willing to open their doors for her, give her a home, care for her, and love her.
Will you help Penelope find the forever home she is searching for? Share Penelope’s story and let’s find her the loving home that she deserves.
