Can your dog read your mind? Most dog parents would quickly say no, but in reality, your furry friend might know what you’re thinking better than you realize.

Dogs pay a lot of attention to body language, so sometimes, they can recognize a cue without even hearing the word. If you think of a command, that might be enough for your dog to understand what you expect of them. For example, you might stand up straighter when thinking of “sit,” if you’re used to luring your dog’s nose up.

Using this information, you can play a game with your dog to see how well they know their commands. If you’ve practiced training enough, they may be able to “read” your mind!
