Aron, with Sun and Sage Rescues, came upon a stray dog that was in terrible condition. The poor boy had a severe case of mange causing most of his fur to fall out. As Aron approached, the pup hid in the bushes, unsure of the man’s intentions.
Once Aron captured the dog and he was safely inside a crate, he let out a heart-wrenching cry. He didn’t understand that these kind folks were about to save his life! Aron named the dog Digby and took him to the rescue center.
Digby has a leg deformity, and when he was examined by the veterinarian, he assured Aron that his leg in no way hinders his quality of life. In fact, Digby excels at playing with toys and Aron says he has the cutest walk! Soon after his rescue, Digby went to his foster home which turned into his forever home!
Sun and Sage Rescues is an amazing organization. Aron has rescued 30 animals from the streets of Bali in the past year. Wow! What a hero! To meet Digby and see his dramatic transformation, check out the video below.
