The emergency surgery was swiftly carried out, facilitating Deepak’s quicker recovery. Including preparation and recovery, the procedure spanned five hours. The immediate challenge was ensuring Deepak’s survival post-surgery, with concerns about potential infections and other risks. Over six months, a diligent effort from the medical team and volunteers ensured Deepak’s safe rehabilitation.
He was given pain relief when needed, alongside abundant love and care. The transformation he underwent is truly remarkable.

Similar to his fellow dogs, Deepak participates in hydrotherapy sessions in the pool. This environment allows him to strengthen his body without overburdening his still-healing areas. Among his favorite activities in the water are searching for his beloved ball and working out his muscles, making the pool an essential part of his rehabilitation.
