Dogs are cute whether they’re in real life or a Disney cartoon. But have you ever wondered how cute they’d be if you mixed those two together? A new Snapchat filter allows you to do exactly that.

You can take a photo of your dog to find out what they’d look like as a Disney character. Unlike Snapchat’s other odd filters, this option works perfectly for animals. Of course, the results are adorable and hilarious. Disney better be planning a new dog movie soon because all these pups look like stars!

How to Use the New Filter

This adorable filter doesn’t always show up by default, but you can always use it. If you want to turn your dog into a Disney cartoon, then make sure you have Snapchat ready.

Here are the steps you need to take in order to use this filter:

  1. Open Snapchat, then click the face icon on the bottom right.
  2. Click ‘explore’ on the bottom right.
  3. Search ‘cartoon face’.
  4. Point the camera at your dog after the filter opens.
  5. Take a picture of your adorable cartoon pup!

When using the filter, there are also a few personalized options to choose from. This includes eye shape, eyelash length, eyebrow shape, and eye color.

Too Many Cute Disney Dogs!

Ever since this filter came out, people have been posting about it like crazy on social media. Even though the filter works on humans too, it’s way more entertaining to use on furry friends. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work on every single dog though. Dogs with dark coats or flatter faces often don’t get recognized. Yet, you should at least try it on your pup just in case!

Dogs of all shapes and sizes have shared photos of their cartoon selfies. Some look exactly like real Disney characters, including Lady from Lady and the Tramp.

Other dogs more closely resemble the characters from Bolt.

Some pups look extra beautiful and graceful with cartoon eyes.

But others look much sillier.

Some dogs have even had major malfunctions when taking photos. The filter sometimes mistakes nostrils and spots for eyes.

But one thing is for sure; this filter has brought joy to so many people.

After seeing so many dogs with Disney eyes, you’re probably dying to see your own dog’s portrait. By using Snapchat, your dog will look like a character straight out of a Disney movie. Maybe your dog’s photo will even be so cute that Disney will cast them in an upcoming film!
