Fiadh was a product of inbreeding. The irresponsible and inhumane practice led to the pup being half-blind, deaf, and half the size she should be. Laura met Fiadh when a rescue group contacted her to become her foster. She agreed!
Within 24 hours, Laura knew she could never part with Fiadh, so she officially became a foster fail. The breeder kept the “rejected” dog outside in the Dubai heat; her coat never filled in properly. No one knew what type of dog she was until Laura brought her to the vet and was told she’s a purebred Husky!
With proper diet, and living indoors, Fiadh’s coat grew out and it’s stunning! Even though the pup is deaf, half-blind, and dwarfed, she has a ton of energy. She’s also quite tenacious! She doesn’t let her past dictate her present. She adores people. Laura has to pull her away at times because she’s just too much!
Fiadh has to be woken up with finesse. Laura gently touches her, or else she startles. The pup also lacks recall. If Laura throws a ball to the left, she’ll run to the right. But Fiadh doesn’t mind! She will play all day if you let her.
