Shadow the white German Shepherd’s pulse quickens whenever she sees a “tiny creature.” When her family adopted a young Pygmy goat baby, Shadow was immediately captivated by the adorable kid. To claim that she had taken in the little one, she immediately took up residence under the tiny animal’s wing.

In this video, we see Shadow treating her goat daughter as if she were one of her own pups! On the carpet, Shadow is resting and has the tiny animal tucked up against her warm belly. The ecstatic dog can barely hold back her grins while caring for her precious baby that makes it difficult to contain her joy!

Shadow, overwhelmed by her motherly instincts, licks and cleans her “daughter” at predetermined intervals, wagging her bushy tail like a super proud mama! The baby goat is comfortable and safe with her dutiful dog mom, and won’t move an inch from her “secure haven.” This video is a rush of happiness!

It’s likely that this tiny kid will continue to be Shadow’s pint-sized offspring, being a diminutive breed of goat! With her beaming eyes and constant grins, it’s clear that this caring dog has taken on motherhood with joy. Keep up the good work, Shadow!
