Homeless Two-Legged Poodle Gets The Best Surprise After 10 Years Of Neglect

Everyone, meet Amaze-Bob–a two-legged Poodle who got rescued after being homeless for 10 painful years. In January 2015, Amaze-Bobb was taken by animal control officers because he had suffered severe, abusive neglect. Amaze-Bobb suffered 10 years of living in the streets. His fur was so matted that it had tightened and cut off the circulation of two of his legs. Because of this, Amaze-Bobb lost his back left leg, and his front right leg. He had also lost most of his teeth.

After Amaze-Bobb was taken off the streets by LA animal control, the vets and staff at the Carson shelter treated him. They sedated him, shaved him, and pulled his rotting teeth before he went to the rescue director, Carla, for a few days. Then Megan Lundberg and her husband foster him for a week, before he went back to Carla for a week of vet appointments, and then back to the Lundberg’s for a week. After that he was went to Synergy San Diego–a rescue, rehab & sanctuary for special needs animals, while the Lundbergs moved from San Diego to Colorado. But they didn’t forget about Amaze-Bobb. They fostered him for a couple weeks in February, and then Carla fostered him for a few months until she flew with him to Colorado so the Lundbergs could make him a permanent part of their family.
