It’s a story that tugs at the heartstrings – a lonely, abandoned dog named Jojo found hope, love, and a foster home after being discovered by a caring family. The family began noticing the abandoned dog and tried to approach him, but Jojo would bolt as soon as he saw them. Despite his initial fear, the family knew Jojo was hungry and needed help. They started leaving out food and toys for him, hoping to gain his trust and rescue him from his desperate situation.

The family observed that Jojo was in danger from coyotes that roamed the area. The coyotes were seen on camera by the family, pestering Jojo and nipping at his legs. The sight of Jojo hobbling around and occasionally disappearing for days at a time became increasingly worrisome. Determined to rescue him, the family set up a trap filled with roast chicken to lure him in. Jojo, unable to resist the delicious meal, walked right into the trap.

Once Jojo was safely captured, the family transported him to a shelter where he could be assessed and receive the care he needed. Although he was initially lonely at the shelter, Jojo’s breakthrough moment came when the family brought him more roast chicken. The delicious food and familiar faces helped Jojo to feel more at ease, and he began to trust his rescuers.

In his foster home, Jojo started to show his true personality. He adored belly rubs and found comfort in being near people. When left alone, Jojo’s favorite spot was on the couch, but he preferred to be close to his foster family whenever they were around. Jojo also seemed to enjoy the indoor life, happily leaving behind his days of scavenging for food in trash cans.

As Jojo adjusted to his new life, it became clear that the once-abandoned dog was now a loving family pet. He awaits his forever home, but this love bug and survivor will have no trouble finding his permanent family. The ideal match for Jojo would be someone with experience and a big heart, willing to give him a second chance at a happy life.
