Many dogs endure lives without joy, simply existing on a leash, neglected by their owners. Yet, with compassion and action, these animals can find the loving homes they deserve. This story is about a dog named Juliette, who spent her life chained up until a remarkable person changed her fate. Rescuers from the Humane Society of the United States discovered Juliette on an abandoned farm in South Korea, where dogs were being used for food. Despite her grim circumstances, Juliette greeted the rescuers with joy, as if she knew her life was about to improve.

After being brought to the United States, Juliette’s story was shared on Instagram, which caught the attention of Michigan-born actor Daniel Henney, best known for his role in Criminal Minds. Moved by her story, Henney felt an instant connection and decided to give Juliette the life she deserved. He quickly arranged to meet her, and their first encounter took place in a park, allowing them to bond through play and interaction.

Henney was delighted by how easily Juliette adapted to new surroundings and people. When it was time to take her to her new home, Juliette eagerly embraced the opportunity. She met her new sibling, Roscoe, and the two dogs formed an immediate bond there. Roscoe was thrilled to have a sister to play with and share adventures.
