So many things that need fixing can be done if we act as a team. Sadly, humanity is quite divided, and many of us believe we must go at it alone. This story proves that this isn’t the case. We are stronger when we stick together. A terrified dog ended up on a busy highway. With cars whizzing by, the dog darted in and out of traffic, trying to survive a perilous situation. But the dog was not alone. One of the drivers noticed him and tried to usher him to the shoulder.
When another driver also saw the pup, she drove toward the dog, attempting to guide him to a safer spot. The two cars inspired a third and then a fourth. With their blinkers on, all four drivers slowed their speed, but the dog continued to run.
Unaware of the drivers’ intentions, the exhausted dog fled. With each step, he risked his life. But the kind humans did not give up! One of the drivers, with a teal hatchback, slowed down enough to open his door. He tried to grab the pup but couldn’t. However, the cars were now positioned perfectly. The dog was now trapped on the shoulder.
A children's doctor had been evicted and had left items behind when she left. Among them was something alarming: a plastic storage bin, where a dog had been locked inside. If someone is this cruel to a small, defenseless dog, how can they continue to treat children as a doctor?
While the other drivers protected the path, the man in the teal blue car got out and grabbed the dog. He put him in the front seat. The poor pup’s energy was depleted. He panted heavily, trying to cool off. The dog was relieved he was now safe with a good person.
