A dog mother had been sent on a lengthy mission (military deployment) away from her loved pet, Murphy. When she departed her parents took good care of her cherished companion and BFF Murphy, she sadly said goodbye. Soldiers are selfless individuals who recognize the danger ahead of them and serve our country with pride and we thank them for their service. She understood that this farewell might be permanent when she bid adieu to her closest friend. It’s dangerous to serve our nation and she was sure she may never return.

In the video below, she and her parents planned her reunion with her dog in advance. She knew it would be a magical moment, or at least hoped it would be. Filming it was a good idea just in case things went as expected. When the soldier arrives at her parents’ home and the front door opens, they do not have the special moment she had been yearning for.
