Never underestimate a dog with a disability. We have seen a lot of remarkable dogs with disability, and they’ve shown us their resiliency and fighting spirit. Remember that two-legged Boxer named Duncan? We absolutely loved him and his inspirational video.

Here’s another inspiring and heartwarming story of a dog with a disability. Meet Smiley, a Golden Retriever who was born blind, and raised in a puppy mill. But despite his unfortunate past, Smiley is making people smile with his happy and cheerful disposition.

Now Smiley is working as a therapy dog. He makes handicapped people and ill patients smile with his adorable and happy face! The photographer behind these beautiful photos says that Smiley bumps into things a lot. He also doesn’t know how to stop when he’s running toward you. But despite all that, Smiley can do what normal dogs do. He loves to explore things by sniffing around, listening, and nuzzling.

Smiley’s owner, Joanne, says that “it’s important that he explores his surroundings on his own, using his own instincts, without people hovering over him or cringing every time he bumps into something.”
