Animal Aid Unlimited in India is an organization that rescues strays off the streets. Often times they receive calls for dogs that are worn down, neglected, or trapped and unable to escape. But this rescue is like nothing they’d ever seen in all their experiences.
In the back of an old and abandoned truck, they found a female dog, a curled pile of mange that almost looked like a stone statue, unmoving and still–barely breathing. The rescue workers brought her dog biscuits, and only then did she very slowly raise her head, flies swarming all around. Once they felt they’d gained her trust enough to move her, she retaliated in fear. No one knows if this poor dog had ever even experienced a human’s touch before. Watch this amazing rescue, and the dog you see at the end will make you feel happy inside:)
There is no speculation as to what would have happened to sweet Alice if the rescue team had showed up a day later. We need more good people like this in the world, and we are so thankful to see Alice’s beautiful recovery–tail wagging and all. Share this amazing story with your friends!
