An unwanted litter of puppies was spotted by Donna and Natalie with Stray Rescue of St. Louis. The pups whimpered, begging for help. They snuggled in a pile to keep warm. As Donna loaded the four puppies into the truck, Natalie saw something out of the corner of her eye.
She approached and, hidden in the brush, two more puppies stared up at her. Natalie picked them up to join their siblings. She could tell they had ringworm by the patches on their little bodies. Once at the rescue center, the pups devoured their first bowl of food. Next, they were bathed and treated with medication.
In a matter of weeks, all six puppies were healthy and ready to go to their new foster homes. The beautiful bunch had survived a tragic ordeal, but amazingly, they were playful and happy! Their adorable joyful faces say it all!
Thank you, Stray Rescue of St. Louis! The precious puppies wouldn’t have made it without wonderful people like you.
