The shelter received an eight-week-old puppy that looked unusual like an alien and was found to be too small and sick to stay there. The puppy required someone who could take care of her and see beyond her current appearance. Pippa needed a second chance at life to survive.

It only took one look from dog foster Amanda to decide to pick up Pippa and bring her home. It became apparent soon after that the pup was unfamiliar with the typical life of a dog. Initially, she would sit on the ground and shake, but after receiving medicated baths for a few days, she began to come out of her shell and showed significant improvement.

Pippa’s hair had almost fully grown back after three weeks. Additionally, Terri learned about Pippa and chose to adopt her soon after. Thanks to the love and care she received from some kind people, the little dog’s appearance has changed significantly from when she was first seen! 😯
