Near the edge of a town, a small puppy found itself left alone. After a passerby noticed the lonely pup waiting in the deserted forest, they contacted a nearby dog shelter for help. Milan, a member of “Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac,” set out to rescue the isolated puppy, unsure of what condition he might find.
Navigating through six miles of secluded paths, Milan finally reached the spot where the puppy was reported to be. There, hidden behind a toppled stone pillar, the puppy was found, initially frightened by Milan’s approach.

Milan made hissing noises as he approached the shrubs in order to lure out the puppy. But, just as the man was preparing to take a step forward, an army of pups burst from the bushes and attacked him. They ambushed him with all their cuteness and started playing around without thinking twice, but it was unlike any other attack.

It was simple to guess that the five pups were about two months old, and that their mother had been taken from them. The tiny siblings were trusting souls who played together oblivious to the perils of survival.
Milan laid out some food to attract all the puppies, 4 females and 1 male, to one spot. The starving little ones immediately chomped down the food and slurped up the water with pure gratitude. They then adorably nestled up in Milan’s arms as he carried them to his van.

The pups were saved and placed at the shelter, where they were given the names Lora, Mona, Nana, Luna, and Bruno. They will be given the greatest care and medical attention possible until they are ready to go to their new homes. We hope that the mother of these puppies is safe and well with her owner or wherever she is now. Good luck on your journey, precious angels.
