Remy and Bomber aren’t your average dogs. To say they’re clever is a vast understatement! The doggy duo had police officers stumped when they received multiple 911 calls in a 30-minute span. In the first emergency call, the dispatcher could hear a “ruff,” and then the call ended. Police officers were sent out to the home to investigate.

The officers knocked on the door but could only hear dogs barking. They phoned dispatch to let them know all was clear, but then dispatch explained they received 15 more calls over the next half hour. For all they knew, someone could have been in serious distress!

The officers entered the home through the garage and placed a call to the homeowner. Once inside, the officers checked the house thoroughly. The cell phone was located inside a home office. Remy and Bomber had been calling 911 through the phone’s emergency screen. The dogs excitedly wagged their tails, happy to see the police officers.

The entire town was relieved everyone was okay and that the pups’ emergency was merely a “woof” for attention. To see the hilarious story unfold, play the video below.
