Howl Of A Dog Rescuers met a stray dog named Remy during their spay/neuter campaign. He was all by himself in a rural area. When they pulled over their vehicle, they were taken aback by how friendly the pup was. His tail wagged happily the moment he laid eyes on the kind humans. He remained hopeful that they would save him from a daunting life on the streets. As Remy approached, his rescuers noticed he had a burn on his nose from an iron. It was a heartbreaking sight, but his traumatic past was finally over, and he could say goodbye to any cruelty or hardships he had faced.

The video explains that many people in Romania believe that burning a dog’s nose with a hot iron will build up their immune system. But how could a dog understand that?! All Remy knew was that it hurt and left a permanent scar on his face. His rescuers also noticed that his left ear was torn.

Remy spent his days sleeping in front of a grocery store, hoping for scraps of food. He remained there, possibly waiting for someone he once knew. The rescuers worked tirelessly to find Remy a permanent home. They took Remy with them when they couldn’t find a home for him in the village. Remy was elated to finally be with compassionate people!

What happens next for Remy? According to Howl Of A Dog’s update below the video, the deserving pup found his forever family with and beautiful home in Charlotte, North Carolina! We are over the moon, and you will be too! Click ‘play’ on the video below to witness Remy’s rescue.
