Taryn’s dog, Robby, spent countless hours waiting by a closed bedroom door. While his nose was glued to the corner, his body was splayed out on the floor. He didn’t care how long it would take; he wasn’t moving until that special someone came out of the room.

Finally, after fifteen days, Taryn opened the door, and Carl, an adorable kitty, came bounding out to chase Robby. Carl had to be quarantined, and once the time was up, Robby officially adopted the cat he already fell in love with without meeting him.

Taryn describes Robby as a socially awkward dog with anxiety. He has a hard time making friends with other dogs. Taryn thought fostering cats would be a great idea, so Robby wasn’t alone. Let’s just say Carl is Robby’s favorite! Robby didn’t like to go on walks until Carl could join him. Now the two of them excitedly run down the stairs and out the door. It’s adorable!
