Cassandra Cabrera’s dog, Miss May, has been waiting for her at home for the past ten months while she was deployed in Africa. Cabrera feared that she would not recall her since she was only a puppy when Cabrera departed to serve.

However, once the pup discovered Miss May again in Sacramento International Airport in California, her worries vanished. Miss May showed that she had not forgotten her human in an instant when she was standing there on a leash as Cabrera descended the escalator among a crowd of people.

Miss May was on a leash as Cabrera descended the escalator among a throng of people. When Miss May saw Cabrera coming down the steps, she ran straight to her and smothered her in kisses and tail wags. It’s safe to say that Miss May not only recognized her human, but also didn’t forget him for an instant.

After weeks apart, these two were finally able to come back together. This beautiful moment will stay with Cabrera for the rest of his life. Hopefully, these two won’t be separated for much longer.
