The Single Easiest Way You Can Save Shelter Animals’ Lives

It’s a sad truth, but many pets are murdered every day simply for taking up space for too long in a shelter. These pets are adoptable, loving animals who just want to find a home.

Meanwhile, in other parts of the country there are families waiting and waiting for their local shelter to have new pets available for adoption. We animal lovers don’t have to stand by the wayside, heartbroken that we can’t do anything. There is a particular way to save these shelter animals’ lives and a very easy way for you to help.

Puppies to be transported to loving homes

The solution is to move these pets to areas where there is more demand and not enough supply, to put it bluntly. Remember those waiting families in other areas? They will snatch those puppies and kitties up faster than you can imagine. A handful of charities exist with the sole purpose of transporting these death row pets to those areas. By air and by road they make their way from certain death to a wonderful, happy life.

When we here at iHeartDogs.com found out about these amazing organizations, we knew we needed to find a way to contribute. That’s when we came up with the Second Chance Movement ™. Every purchase of an item in the Second Chance Movement collection funds miles towards a trip that could save well over a hundred innocent, adoptable shelter animals.

It’s the single easiest way you can help! These items make great gifts (for yourself or anyone else)!

More About The Second Chance Movement ™

In partnership with GreaterGood.org, The Second Chance Movement ™ will donate travel miles for every product in the Second Chance Movement collection to charities that facilitate the transportation of adoptable pets from areas of low-demand to areas of high-demand. Many of these innocent pets are on death row and would have been euthanized in just a few days if they were not rescued.

The donations are provided as a grant from GreaterGood.org to several benefiting non-profits that provide both air and ground transports from kill shelters to no-kill shelters.
