This 8-year-old German Shepherd named Zero got his second chance at having a wonderful and loving family. His first owners neglected him for years. He was rescued from a home along with 40 other animals who were all abused and neglected. Now he has a new family who loves him, and a purpose in life. He has become the perfect companion and best friend of a 10-year-old boy who was diagnosed with cancer. Zero motivates the boy and cheers him up when he feels down.
