I find if I walk my little bundle of wiggles on lead or god forbid miss a walk the next day is hell, even now. I also have noticed that she exhibits bad behaviour when she is stressed or exhibiting signs of anxiety. Initially if Ellie got too excited or anxious I would literally lay her on the ground, put one hand on her head and rubbed the other hand from head to tail until she stopped to struggle. People in the park thought I was crazy, now I can get her to sit and pat her from head to tail to settle. As soon as I see she is getting worked up, I settle her. As she is getting older and the more socialisation, she is improving, bur bad Ellie still gets a showing now and then.
