My 12 yr old Springer has an allergy that makes him like his front legs and it makes his fur like a rust color. The groomer has a hard time getting it out. The vet said it was an allergy and I could give him Benedryl but I don’t want to give him that every day. Has anyone else dealt with this and what helps? Thank you.

My female does the same thing. We switched to a grain free food. It seems to be helping. Her front legs are back to their normal color.
