My 9 year old boxer was recently in the hospital for not being able to walk. They said he had a few spots of arthritis and an enlarged prostate. I took him to the vet after that and they said his back was really bad with arthritis and his prostate wasn’t that big but he had a growth close to it and an enlarged heart. I was told by the hospital he had to be neutered asap. The vet said he didn’t right now but eventually he needs to be due to a high risk of getting cancer. Other people have said him being that old it wasn’t a good idea because it would cause other problems. I’m at the point where I have no idea what to do. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Use cosequin t o stop the arthritis pain. My dog use to scream in pain then we started him on cosequin. He’s 17 yrs. old and runs around with energy.

I would not get your baby fixed at his age,I have owned boxers and their life span is only usually to 10 years old.If I was you I would leave well enough alone.
