My sweet 11 yr old Black Lab has had one hell of a fight with several different types of cancer. She has had a grand total of 7 awful surgeries. She is defiantly a fighter with an amazing will to live. I have been told all of this could have been prevented, and sadly, is becoming the norm in pure bred dogs. To many breeders care more about the money then keeping the blood line pure. They are not careful and inbreeding is rampant. This is causing a flurry of horrible diseases, including cancer, becoming more and more prevalent as time goes by. We need to stop supporting this horrible practice. We all need to stop supplying breeders with money and start rescuing when we want to add to our families so there are less beautiful creatures being bred to suffer a life of disability and disease. My beautiful pup was a service dog and she still has to suffer from the inhumane practice of inbreeding. I want to thank I ❤️ Dogs for the wonderful box of toys they sent my pup last month. Her surgery went very well and they are hopeful that all cancer cells where removed. She is recovering and having fun with the toys I ❤️ Dogs so graciously sent to her! I urge everyone to rescue an animal and spoil them with treats and toys from I ❤️ Dogs! They are PAWSOME!
