Hey guys I have a 4 month old fawn doberman pup who has had chronic utis since we got her at 8wks. We didn’t notice the first one until she was about 10-11 wks but the vet said it was very bad and she had to have had it since before we got her. She was on antibiotics 10 days and a cranberry supplement. Everything was great for a few days then we started to notice she was leaking/dripping a lot then we noticed blood in her urine. We took her to a second vet who put her on antibiotics for 20 days and now it’s been roughly a week and today we noticed leaking again. I was wandering if anyone else had any issues like this and for any advice on what to do! Thank you!

I have had wonderful results using Cornsilk. It is an herb and available from any health food store. Initially give 1 with meal every other day. (I break open the capsule and dump on their food) After about 3 or 4 weeks, I drop back to one every 3 days. You might even be able to get to a couple days a week. Trial and error on that part. It strengthens the urea and is a holistic approach. I much prefer these tried and true methods over antibiotics that will have adverse effects on the immune system, which can then cause a multitude of problems.

Our 4 year old girl has had some problems with UTIs but not at that severity. Quite some time ago we read that asparagus has properties that promote urinary tract health. We feed her some whenever we have it, and havent had any problems since. She loves it raw or cooked.
