Dog does small hops at me on purpose

Ok so I have a small breed mix (Yorkie and Shitzu). My dog voluntarily will occasionally do a combination of small hops and skids backwards… as if her legs are stiff..she will hop repeatedly backwards as she slides a little. She will do it to me and to my other dog. I think she is trying to play or get our attention but I can’t find anything online about it. everything I find is related to a condition or a physical problem, but my dog is healthy and she does it on purpose. sometime we are in bed getting ready to go to sleep and she will get up and get on all 4s lower her head a little and start doing these little hops so we have to tell her to settle down and go to sleep. mind you she is not hungry and doesn’t need a potty break. Its weird, she will do it at random to my other dog and me, no particular time and I don’t see a pattern, but she is doing it on purpose.
anyone know what this is, or why dogs do it?
