We found out our female 1.5 yr old has hip dysplasia, well right after we found out she came into heat, we also have a male Doberman, well we tried to keep them separated, well one day last week we had a family emergency needless to say a family member let the out together he got her 3 times in 4 hrs. (( My question is if she would be pregnant will it hurt my female to deliver pups? )))
You need to take her in to be spayed and abort the puppies. Hip dysplasia is hereditary and you do not want to pass it on. Also any breeding pair should be at least tested for eye, thyroid, and cardiomyopathy prior to breeding. If any of those tests are not good those dogs should be fixed and never bred. We need to do everything we can to produce healthy dogs, not ones that cannot walk, or drop dead of heart disease at a young age.
