You can go to your pet store and buy eyewash and use daily to help with eye irritants such eye lashes, pollen, or ever the hair surrounding their eyes. I had Shih-tzu for 16 yrs and this was what I did for her along with warm washcloths to soften and remove the buggers and crust which was also soothing as well. There are different brand just added a pic as a suggestion for when you go to your pet store. Good Luck with your fur babies.

I used to have this problem too. i thought the person that suggested this was a little crazy, but it worked. I give my girl 1 freeze dried beef liver treat every day.. The brand I buy is Stewart (American made). According to what I read, most of that is caused by a dietary issue. (And I feed her very good food). It worked! If it doesn’t, there could be another issue such as allergies or infection. I did make the mistake of getting lazy and wasnt giving them to her and within a week her eyes were weeping like crazy again. She still gets eye “boogies” some, but no weeping and no staining.
